Hello everyone! I purchased a Razer Megalodon Headset and for some reason iTunes wont let me select Surround Sound. It's a 7.1 headset. Is there anyway to make iTunes see the headset or force it to do surround? Thanks!

Hmm.. Just remember that, while the technologies Apple may use in a cell phone will not be new or novel in themselves, their execution and use will be.
There were MP3 players before the iPod, it was the execution of the technology, not th technology itself...

luckily not all rap/hip hop (especially the non US ones) gives this sense of "i'm above the rest" .. since they are nowhere as good as the funny,more language acrobatic ones IMHO
but i'm 22 and not 15 and didn't grew up in the gettho or something

Hmmm, lets start off with Dont Sweat The Technics (check the video out, you'll notice another star from the fugees from that video, He's solo now & the most respected of that dead group). Then you MUST MUST MUST check out "Let The Rhythm Hit'Em" UNTIL you've listened to this track or even Juice (Know The Ledge) then you have no clue what your talking about. "Follow The Leader" and Soo much more. More recent is "New York" lyrically on par with Let The Rhythm Hit'Em; from a time when artists actually could freestyle hard lyrically challenging rhymes from scratch, not pen them over weeks, months & record them before performing or mix & match rhymes from their various prerecorded rhymes like every artist does now. Hmm others from that era that weren't comedy rap? Queen Latifah "I order you to dance for me"! Pete Rock & CL Smooth, although not officially RAP - they pretty much ushered in the era of HipHop (if not amongst the VERY 1st) - check out their famous ballard T.R.O.Y.; again if you dont know what that track is nor the abbreviation - ya betta axe somebody (that last 4 words is from another famous RAP artist, but They Reminisce Over You = TROY). Hmm, whom else? How about EPMD with " The Big Payback" ; this was the best of what they offered IMHO, as their rhyming style was just too slow for me. Now we all cannot forget the surviving KING of RAP .... LL COOL J. The most successive albums and the oldest, surviving RAP artist that started in the game since day of the 1st explosion... actually it was HIM that started the explosion, NOT RUN-DMC; remember My Radio, or how about You Yvette, even more recently Milky Cereal, Mr Goodbar (one of my favorites). Canadian artists that get my respect is DL Incognito & K-OS; both have evolved incredibly well K-OS is in the same light as Outkast as they've always strived to improve and not go the norm (exception K-OS first album was more POP as he was only 16 at the time and didnt know himself yet).

The Fresh Prince & DJ Jazzy Jeff , "Parents Just Dont Understand", "Girls of the World Aint Nuthin But Trouble", then "A Nightmare On My Street" came out and they bombed. however the only time Prince came back (with Jeff) was with "Ring My Bell" (a remix), and my favorite "Summertime". After that he just went broke and Quincy Jones saved his ass mentoring him into acting (yeah he played a fag but no casting would take him until after Fresh Prince of Bel Air - producer Quincy Jones). Is an actor now, he doesnt rate, skills are lost, just a trash talker.
Others have tried, but failed pretty much as 1 hit wonders not even worth mentioning. Why? Because the HipHop Comedy genre wasnt accepted? No, because lyrically after "I think I can beat Mike Tyson" by Prince/Jeff; lyrically nothing was challenging from that genre. It died peacefully. Oops sorry just remembered one more; Biz Markie Dee ... Oh Baby Yooo, Ya Got What NeeeEEeeed, and you say He's just a Freen, and you say he's just a friend, OOOHhh Baabbbieee... well you betta know that one. However, you young yutes/bucks/pecks may like Twista, but Biz Markie Dee is the original KING of Beat Boxn; shizz you probably never heard of Biz. Well Look at Men In Black II, Biz is the big brotha beat boxing when Will Smith first enters the Mail Room to prove to Z of interstella life! ;) [EDIT] And dont even think of putty A Tribe Called Quest in this genre of comedy rap - "el segundo" doesnt count.
Digable Planets was instrumentally beautiful, even though lyrically it wasnt challenging, only the way they spoke was challenging to lyrically copy. "Dial 7", "9th Wonder", and a few others melded retro 60's style, flow, and a unique jazzy sound! But because of the time it debuted, political correctness across USA chastisized their stride. still classic and beautiful.
Blackstarr, Talib Qweli, Common; lyrically poetic & complex artists, NOT comedy artists. The Roots too.
For the past 5 years though, those that make the most involve too much bling or fraud from their roots to hoist their status.
Snoop, incredibly respected since his first album; but historically he didnt come from the ghetto, not even South Central. He was an uptown boy, BUT his originality and style got him were he is now, and he deserves his clout. Eminem is the ONLY artist that writes his lyrics, more so than he freestyles (since his original contract with Dre; remember Dre was the puppy of NWA not the star, but he was more intelligent in the studio!), why? because of his complex style of rhyming. Its more difficult that a Limerick; so difficult its never been done before and no artist can touch him.

Menu Bar > Go > Connect to Server > Mac Pro IP or what ever the name of your machine is called Mac-Pro.local
And your done, might even bookmark it if you use it often.

Ello' guys and garls'!
So, my beloved MacBook Air "13 Ultimate (2.13GHz / 4GB / 25GB) Fans go crazy whenever i watch flash, for example i watch CTFXc (like 12 mins videos) and the fans are kicking in almost instantly and keep spinning until a few minutes after i stop watching the videos.
Now, this problem weren't that bad when i got it, that was around january, back then the weather was a lot colder outside than it is now.
January = -15 to -5 C
Now = 10 to 26 C
I have no idea if it's the weather (:D) but that's my theori.
Is this normal or what? when i feel it, it doesn't feel that warm, like my MacBook Pro does for instance.
Hope you guys can help.

I bought my 13-inch MBA back in the winter and it's the best notebook I have ever used.
I say it's a notebook because it doesn't feel like a netbook. It's got a big trackpad, a full-size keyboard, a gorgeous high-DPI display, it's super thin. And it runs Logic Express smooth as silk. A netbook can't do those things.

I'm planning to go there by 4 am. called up lakeside, they said they might open up the doors at 7am for the center? but dont know which entrance would be open first and will people be queuing up at the main entrances?

I just put iTunes on a PC. I also have a Mac. :D
My question is I have some songs on the PC that are windows media files I think. How do I import them into iTunes? I tryed doing the import and finding the songs but they did not show as if they were not there?
Or how can I convert those windows media files to a MP3 file?
Man I like my Mac much better. :D

Im having a nightmare trying to install 10.3 back onto my hard drive i have tried several install disks but to no avail. Ive listed the faults from the log file below.
Whenit goes to Select Destination i get the following error:
root:bootstrap_look_up():unknown error
It checks the installation disks fine
And starts to install after about 5 mins i get the following errors when installing base system part2
./usr/share/man/man5/lmhosts5
some files for Essentials may not have been written correctly
root: 2005-01-15 18:00:54 installer(108) exception raised during poosting of notification. Ignored exception : Some files may not have been written correctly (code1)
install failed
error detected

Any clues please

I think this patent could be used for several things that aren't the iPod.
1. A universal remote for iTV and FrontRow (that would function somewhat like SallingClicker).
2. Perhaps for use in an Ultra Portable? This is such a small, niche market that I doubt Apple getting involved in it at this time, but I would think that holding a machine with both hands and using your thumbs on the bezel instead of a joystick could be great. It would be faster and more convienient than a touch screen.*
3. New touch-sensitive bezel on iPod shuffle. Ok, that is just ridiculous. I said several above and I didn't want to change that to 2.*
