Great Question! Mostly for posterity sake at first - phase 2 will most likely be filming (transfering?) a bunch of Super 8 movies and doing the same - need to research more on that still...
I'd say 30hrs of 8mm, god knows how many Super 8...
Somewhere before getting on with phase 2, I plan on editing and throwing together some things like our annual visits up north vacationing throughout the last 10 years or so..
The "what's next" question is perfect for if I should choose certain formats etc for whatever I do next!

Yes, perfectly normal. It saves SHSH for the most recent firmware, regardless of which firmware is installed on your device.
i thought it suppose to save my 4.3 shsh instead showing me 4.3.1 shsh? i have a 4.3 ipad2.

I do agree that I think you have a very good campaign concept of "too easy". Apple could run one ad per iLife app to show just how "too easy" it can be to do something. The only thing this ad (and your other one) is missing is the Apple logo at the end and maybe apple.com/ilife or something like that.
We really have some nice stuff for this contest. It's going to be hard to decide on which one to vote for. :)

Cablevision has a login for the iPad app to log into their network and watch LiveTV. But it looks for you to be on your home network for it to work. The VPN software requires a name and password to connect to the VPN server. That is the name and password I created in the instructions above.
I get 6Megs upload from home. Why is your so slow? That doesn't sound right. You have TW internet?
I checked with TW and that is the upload speed. If I had an alternative then I would switch.

iOS does what NintenDONT, to quote a long, lost video game ad campaign.
It would be nice to see Nintendo games for the iPad/iPhone. But I won't hold my breath. They are a hardware maker, and so goes that. But someday they may have to seriously consider this, especially since every other kid these days has an iPhone, and they are getting them younger and younger. My friend's 7-year old wants one.. an iPhone that is.

This is exactly my point--here we are saying that tons of people would complain about paying an extra $20 for headphones that weren't total garbage, but we are also saying how great it is that Apple sticks 6 billion dollars in the bank for three months' work, free and clear. So which is it? You want to line the pockets of the richest of the rich further, or you don't want to pay the extra $20 for decent headphones?
I'm a capitalist, so I'm going to side with Apple on this one. For me, if/when I buy an iPod, the standard (read crappy) headphones are fine. I don't expect Apple to include decent headphones (and eat the costs) when everyone else includes the same crappy headphones. It's not good business. Apple is in business to make money for the shareholders. Sometimes, business decisions can be beneficial to the shareholders and the consumers, but when it's an either-or sitiuation, the shareholder is gonna win.
The fact that Apple is raking in huge profits is irrelevant in the argument as you've framed. Including decent headphones at the same overall price would do very little to increase sales, but it would hurt the bottom line. Adding in other "marketable" features while keeping costs the same would, in theory, increase sales, so they would make up for the losses with higher volumes.
But I do understand your point. I'm still pissed that no one includes a USB cable with a new printer.

I think what you are saying is that you want to share your purchased music with others in your office that didn't purchase the music, but I'm not sure. Try rewriting your post. Assuming that what I think you are saying is what you are actually saying, the issue of not being able to share is not something that is broken, and therefore can not be "fixed." Not being able to stream the music is part of the DRM of the iTunes Music Store. You are allowed to play the file on up to 5 computers, not stream it to an unlimited number.Well under preferences you have the Sharing option. You can listen, but not burn, copyr or download music from another person on your local network. So why couldn't you share purchased music.. That makes no sense. You're not cheating what's already there, you just lack the control that you would normally have from a purcahsed CD that was ripped into your collection.

...steal MS's thunder?
/me sits watching sky.
/me puts on sunglasses, as Apple shaped star shines too bright.
/me waits for rain.
/me ponders... "MS's thunder?"
Outlook bright and sunny. No chance of thunder.
/me plays "Have You Ever Seen The Rain" on iPod.
/me wonders if neilson31 lives in 1986.

Oddly, it isn't even in the Finder preferences. Just totally gone! I haven't deleted the Finder plist file though, so I will try that next. Of course, it's a preview so things like this are to be expected ;)
This happened to me on the first developer release on my 2010 6-Core Mac Pro. Oddly AirDrop worked/showed on our 2009 iMac. I filed a bug report and was informed AirDrop is still be worked out on various Broadcom AirPort Extreme WiFi cards. Developer Preview 2 now lists AirDrop on both our Mac's but I only got it working once, now neither system notices the other.
All part of the beta fun (although I wish Apple would release more beta's and not "Developer Previews" as they did with previous OS X releases)

Change it to a bidding thing:D I would take down the buy it now and set it to .01 cents. You might get bids that way.

Of course Bill Gates is entitled to all his billions. I mean, consider the very foundation of it, the LSI microchip that comprises the key computer components that run his software. Follow that back and you will see that IC chip development was based entirely in private industry, led by that massive corporate enterprise project called "Apollo".

I've never understood the argument against the Air because of it's lack of DVD drive. I have no idea when the last time was I used mine, and it takes up a massive amount of space and weight on my MacBook.
I'm sure some people have uses of a DVD drive and for them its understandable, but I feel most people, myself included fall into the "I can't remember the last time I've used my CD/DVD drive ..." category. Which is why I replaced mine entirely with a SSD drive, which I boot from. I would recommend it to anybody with the available funds.

This is good but they need to be better about how they treat the developers. The also need to figure out how to better organize the app store. They should have a wishlist and reccomendations.
They already have both of those.

I got my 11.6" Air with 1.4 GHz running Lion. Thinking of putting it on my 27" iMac.
