I agree with videocave. I use the iPhone, universal and AppleTV presets and they work great...NO ARtifacting or blocking.
Can I ask why you are creating you're own setting?

Man, I feel like I have the worst luck in the world. I followed this story (on another thread) when it initially started, in response to the Time Warner iPad app. When I saw that the optimum one became available I instantly knew I would be setting myself up with this. However, I slacked and waiting to download the app. Now I'm left with no option but to use it on a jailbroken iPad, (which is fine because I have a JB'd iPad1). But this means I won't be able to use it on my iPad 2, until it is jailbroken. Sigh...

Go look at Pages; Word's been the "standard" for years and Pages can write Word documents. I'm sure if Lasso, Numbers, Charts, etc. will also be able to save in Excel documents. I believe AppleWorks can, and if this is a step up, and since the world has moved a little more, there should be no problem with Excel and Apple's new application.
There are still two problems:
1) While Pages and Keynote may be exported to Word and Powerpoint, it is not flawless. When working with word documents and presentations small changes may not matter significantly, but when dealing with numbers, there is ZERO room for error.
2) Pages and Keynote (and it seems the "Lasso") are all targeted at the non-experienced computer user. Unfortunately, for the most part, that is the exact opposite audience who use spreadsheets.

Nice clean design. Pretty much what the others have said already.
In the main top navigation bar, assuming those are all the links, I would center them in the bar. Doesn't look right to me having them left justified.

That was easy! Thanks! I looked at some Belkin's, but not those models. Thanks again.
Don't forget to enter in "12345" as the code on the Belkin page in order to get those switches half off!

Did you order it from Speck's website? What shipping method did you use? Do you have a estimated delivery date? Thanks.

I've had a similar problem with different types of symptoms.
Generally, if a CD inserted into the drive doesn't mount, then the eject button doesn't work. Login in and out or a restart either mounts the CD or I can use the eject button held down at start-up to open the drive. (Does the eject button work OK with disks that mount?)
Some CDs won't mount because they have non-standard tinting on the disc or they are scratched in the wrong place. In some cases the OS reports that the CD is unreadable.
My question to you is did the optical drive play up soon after you got the machine or has it been normal for a while then played-up?
I don't think that the device IDs are a problem as they are on different ATA buses, but I'm no expert on ATA.

Can I remind you that internal guide links should be done with just the page name and double ['s (i.e [[)
Also I think have 2 parts is more confusing than 1 big part. Thoughts?
I have nothing against 1 big part. I was splitting my guide because the MacRumors interface was giving me messages that my guide was too big for one browser page. But I've been told by the local powers to ignore the message. :D

The only thing you've succeeded in doing is proving that it's YOU who knows nothing about taxation. How about I list just ONE tax on accumulated wealth?
The Death Tax
The estate tax is a tax on the transfer of money from the estate of someone who died and their heirs. It is collected at the estate level for simplicity and to avoid requiring multiple heirs filing tax returns on the receipt of money.
That is NOT the accumulation of wealth that is being taxed, but the transfer.
So, since you were wrong there, care to try again?
(edit) Just so you don't think I'm being mean, there are some taxes on assets, namely real estate and in some states ad velorem taxes (but I'm not too familiar with that particular tax as it is not in my state).

As no other computers will need to be on the network, I assume it is as simple as plugging the two computers together with an Ethernet cable and making sure they can see each other. The hard part is making sure they always use this network and not the company network.
OS X automatically prioritises the faster connection, hence will use your GbE connection by default if you transfer files between these two machines only.

I've not read it, but I'v heard of Scott Thompson, R. (2006) Quartz 2D graphics for Mac OS X developers (http://www.amazon.com/Quartz-2D-Graphics-Mac-Developers/dp/0321336631/).

You better get a firm grasp on SQL Server as well. SQL Server and Oracle do not function the same way, such as number of connections should you use, how indexing works, etc.
Of course, if your app only needs to scale to a hundred users or so, then you may be okay with skimping on the database end.

I have a 4th Gen iPod Touch and I used Green Poison AND Limera1n, both of which says the jailbreak was successful but no icons were installed for me to install Cydia. Can anyone help?

He's thinking that the app checks if there is a VPN connection on the iPad. If the connection is done on an iPhone then tethered to the iPad it wouldn't see a VPN connection on the iPad.
So I had my friend try it and iphone doesn't seem to be able to connect to VPN and do mywi at the same time. VPN disconnects after mywi connects and won't reconnect after.
PPTP vpn on my android doesn't work with my firewall so i can't test it either

Windows 7 Home. I tried that resolution and got about 35 fps. I think I prefer the visuals at a slighty higher resolution and decent fps. Crysis 2 is easier to experiment with different resolutions than Metro 2033 ($10 on Steam!). Metro seems a little more challenging to find the right balance. I am not complaining at all considering I know my Air is not something for hardcore gaming, but I am always amazed how well it performs considering it's size and thiness.

Hello Guys:cool:
I bought Iphone 3G from Ebay locked to At&t and i live in Europe so i can not find At&t to activate it.
Now i want to know how can i unlock it and how to know BB modem.
Note: i did not receive it yet.
You do need to know what firmware currently on the phone so you can jailbreak it. Since you don't know what firmware on it and you do not want to upgrade/restore it to the latest firmware which is 4.2.1 because if you do, the baseband will also upgrade and therefore you can't unlock unless you go with the ipad baseband.
So, here is what you can do;
1. Download 3G 3.1.2 firmware to your PC.
2. Download redsn0w 0.9.4 to your PC
3. Restore your Iphone to 3.1.2 firmware.
4. Jailbreak/hactivate it with redsn0w and it will bring your phone to home screen.
5. Once your phone is at home screen. Go to Setting/General/about and find out what "modem firmware" you have on the phone.
From there, we can guide you to the next step on how to unlock your phone.

Please tell me why all of your phones are on their "last legs"? Do you all have dropsy or something?
I am still using my original iPhone (pre 3G), and it works just as well as it ever did. Still has the same flaws too.
But regardless, unless I drop it in the parking lot or something, I have no reason to believe that it won't still be going a year from now.
If you are spending your money on bigger/better/faster/stronger/new features, I understand that fully.
I don't understand why large quantities of people are commenting on why their phone is about to die?
Either they abuse their phones or are a member of the new generation who think that if a phone is 2 years old, it's on it's "last leg".
I told a friend of mine today who is thinking about buying the iPhone 4 but is worried about all this "outdated technology" talk that if he does and still has the phone 3 or 4 years from now, he'll still have a great phone.

Stopped reading there.
Then you might as well stop reading MacRumors altogether.
Besides, this analyst has a fairly good track record. But as you said, you didn't read that part.
