nies again. I think they're both werewolves. If so, nies is alpha, because jo tried to save him at the cost of himself.

Competition keeps the prices lowish, but not as low as the junk android handsets and Apple sells unlocked iPhones at full price for those of us with cheap SIM-only plans.
Completely agree, I'm thinking that Apple could single-handedly save Tmo with an iPhone offering just to fuel competition. Android=junk is true, wish I hadn't listened to a few members on here saying how the android system is better for phones. Bought a highly righted android and never the more regretted having got rid of my beloved iP4.

Why didn't any of you vote? Unless I'm mistaken, ucfgrad is going to be lynched by a vote of one when the narrative is posted. :(
I think me and jav6454 are tied at one vote each.

Let's face it: Apple is a monopoly, but with such a small market share, it is a monopoly that we have freely chosen to deal with. We Mac consumers cannot go to the DOJ and claim we have no alternatives (just because your alternatives suck doesn't mean you don't have them.) If Apple were wildly successful and exceeded this threshold market share, their business model may be interfered with by the government.
By definition, having alternatives makes Apple NOT a monopoly.
On a side note, who actually voted negatively for this news item? It makes no sense

1) Is this a permanent move to a Fall Release of the iPhone?
But as this move proves, the June release wasn't permanent either... so none of the dates are permanent, nor ever will be. I suppose you mean, "for a year or two"...?

Im leaning towards Mac Apps.
Firstly the place holder has the word 'Mac' in it.
Additionally both examples are SSH Apps.

Is this just a European iPhone on T-Mobile there?
Sound more and more like a rumor - AT&T and Verizon are exclusives to the iPhone here...
No, the European iPhone is the same hardware as the AT&T iPhone. It will handle voice and pokey EDGE/GPRS data on the T-Mobile USA network, but not 3G data because they use the AWS band for that.
Whether you believe that there is carrier exclusivity is irrelevant. Apple probably tests on many different carriers around the world.
The fact of the matter is Apple doesn't announce the terms of their contracts with mobile operators, so your so-called "exclusivity" could have ended at midnight yesterday.

Thanks, just saw it.
Kind of surprised it's such a late thing... doesn't Apple tend to do events at 10 AM, not 10 PM? (I guess it's still only 7 PM on their coast... still, isn't it time to go home by now for their employees?)
It's not an Apple event, it's a user group event.

Also, Apple is Evil and you are living in Steve Job's RTF.
and... and... 4G.
and... widgets.
Well, the fake 4G carriers are using is faster than the 3G Apple supports, so that's an ok argument.
Apple is pretty evil, but all multibillion dollar corporations are. You don't get rich by being nice. Steve jobs also seems like a jerk in all of those little e-mails he sends out to various people.
Widgets are cool, the iPhone needs an option for them!
You forgot the "Android is open and iOS is closed!!" fanboy argument :(, that's the only one that doesn't really make much sense.

Hyper-Threading (Intel Core i7 only) a technology that allows two threads to run simultaneously on each core. So a quad-core iMac has eight virtual cores, all of which are recognized by Mac OS X. This enables the processor to deliver faster performance by spreading tasks more evenly across a greater number of cores.

Disappointing.
Your 4G on your evo cant hold LTEs underpants :p I have the thunderbolt and while it has its flaws, LTE isnt one of them. Battery would fit the bill for a problem though, however, I got the extended battery. While bulky, worth it.

They are not killing iChat in favor of FaceTime? Glad to hear! I love iChat and was a little bit concerned about its future.
I need iChat on my iPad. It's the only thing missing in my eyes!

Oh man.
Al-qaeda quickly fell apart after the war on terror and became what is known as leaderless resistance.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leaderless_resistance
This kind of movement has top leaders, but for the most part any actions taken by the collective "al-qaeda" (the term quickly became a brand name adopted by many small, loosely-if-connected-at-all cells) are carried out by cells with little if any intercell communication. In short, in this kind of movement, the leaders barely matter if at all. Its the idea that generates the actions, not the leaders.
Watch the news on this right now ... they are talking about how huge Bin Laden is in Al-Queda ... he goes back to the beginning of it.
if anything Ayman al-Zawahiri is a distant #2 leader
Looks like Navy Seals played a big role in getting the job done ... cheers to them.

That's pretty much exactly what you're doing.
Oh please, get off your PC high horse for a second and come back to reality. Yeah, no one should get beat up and bullied. I'd also love for the world to be filled with rainbows and unicorns all the time too. However, if I walk around drunk in a bad part of town flashing a suitcase full of cash, well I shouldn't be shocked that I get robbed. I know people don't like to take personal responsibility for their actions these days and everyone's ready to sue someone else because nothing is ever their fault. But most reasonable people should realize that being drunk in the ghetto as a transgendered guy isn't the brightest idea.

Where's the personal responsibility/Apple shouldn't do things for their customer comments? I thought that was all the rage now a days...
