Did Randy Newman show up on the exhibit floor by any chance?
His political song and comments at the end of the Keynote made me laugh. Only when you're at that stage in life can you get away with something like that.

Yet scientists think all quakes are unrelated. I bet the Pacific plate has been highly active these late years.
Actually, they just don't know how they are related or how to predict them with any level of accuracy.

I just picked up a Bluetake BT500 (http://www.bluetake.com/products/BT500.htm) recently. I have not used it long enough to give a full review. So far, I have no performance issues, tracking is great, no perceivable lag (though I'm not a gamer), and I can't yet comment on the battery life, but the reviews I read gave it a thumbs-up in that department. It has an on-off switch. Set-up was easy. Still, I'm undecided about the form factor, though, which is smaller than usual.
It's the same as the RadTech BT-500 (http://www.radtech.us/Products/BT500.aspx), hardware-wise, I don't know if theirs comes with something extra other than nicer graphics.

I just restored my old version from my TimeMachine backup. I just need to get the vpn stuff sorted out now :-)
If you are watching LiveTV over VPN DO NOT INSTALL THE Optimum LiveTV app update. I installed it and it breaks watching LiveTV over VPN. Luckily I had the app backed up and reinstalled the older version back on my iPad.

Was just about to post about the exact same issue as its annoying the heck out of me given that two of my favorite forums are sub-forums. +1 for aesthetics appeal
Just two! I think I spend most of my time in various subforums! :p

Ello' guys and garls'!
So, my beloved MacBook Air "13 Ultimate (2.13GHz / 4GB / 25GB) Fans go crazy whenever i watch flash, for example i watch CTFXc (like 12 mins videos) and the fans are kicking in almost instantly and keep spinning until a few minutes after i stop watching the videos.
Now, this problem weren't that bad when i got it, that was around january, back then the weather was a lot colder outside than it is now.
January = -15 to -5 C
Now = 10 to 26 C
I have no idea if it's the weather (:D) but that's my theori.
Is this normal or what? when i feel it, it doesn't feel that warm, like my MacBook Pro does for instance.
Hope you guys can help.
Hope you had a nice weekend.:apple:

I wonder if we will hit that point first or if cloning technology will make the point moot by growing fully functioning attachable limbs first.
That image probably represents a single function, perhaps something involving the carpal tunnel.
The hand and wrist are massively more complex than that fictional representation.
IMO.

6 Pack???!!! That's CHEAP!
I charge at least a case of 12 or a nice bottle of Rum.
haha most of my friends are either students and/or in bands. So a 6-pack is about all they can afford. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice sick pack I charge (no poverty $1 for me!)

No, I'm pretty sure Apple canceled the Zune. :D
Or you could say Nokia...
The Zune will just live on in Windows Mobile Phones and Nokia will be leading the front.
Zunes with phone capabilities...

This is at the top of my list, but I've been waiting a bit longer to get a little bored with the VC before getting it. I've seen several used copies at Ebgames for $35 USD (minus additional 10% with an ebgames advantage card) and almost rented it, but I know I'll end up owning it, so why bother.
I've only played the middle three MS games, on emulators both on my Powerbook and PSP when I owned the latter. Addictive as hell, just like you say, but also refreshing presentation that never seems dated - just inspired like the best comic book art and with totally tight controls and gameplay.
Even when i look at some next-gen 3d games, I'm still seeing stretched and distorted textures wrapped around blocky ragdolls. In fact, I don't remember ragdolls looking as blocky as some of the 3d models I see these days, plus most ragdolls appear to at least have their limbs securely attached to the torso unlike the models in, for example, MK Armageddon (based on screenshots of course).

It's saying it on both iTunes & the phone, so would this be some sort of horrific software coincidence or a hardware fault do you reckon?
did you already try to restore as new phone?

Oh, good.
So they're going to adopt a vertical business model and make their own hardware locked to their software, that will be targeted toward providing a superior user experience.
Smart move. Finally!

At the very least, resolution independence is no worse than changing the display resolution. If you change the display resolution, the monitor is simply doing scaling automatically to match it to the native resolution. However, it's scaling the entire screen as a single bitmap. This is why the screen looks blurry if you run at anything but the native resolution. (Note: This is with LCDs.)
With resolution indepence, at worst you do the same type of scaling in the OS. However in this case, the scaling algorithm affects only one app, the algorithm can be updated, and it can be better than the one used by the monitor.
And now they won't have to.
I guess we'll agree to disagree, and wait to find out. We already know that Apple knows that scaling things up will result in a loss of quality, or else they wouldn't be rebuilding all their graphics.

Figured it out. It kept trying to relaunch because the wiki server was turned on for some reason(everything else was disabled). Disabled that and collabd quit.

They have a limit one per person per day. So if you buy 1 you have to come back tomorrow to buy another. Also, you cant hold item. First come first serve.
I was there 7.40 am yesterday to get mine. Store opens at 8 everyday.
So you can find out if they have them before they open?

it will work just fine on bootcamp, as stated, it will run just like a similar spec windows machine. My recommendation though, from my experience, is to also run a fan control program when rendering as the mbp will get quite hot and it runs faster if you push the fans as the windows controller tends to be a little slower on the fans. For example, using max 2012 on my 2009 mbp it will hit 85-89C on a render while running fans around 5k... actually had it shut down on a render in the middle of the night, sucked... but using lubbos fan control (mbp specific fan control gui) I can push the fans to 6k and keep the temps just below 80C... same applies to revit, maya, c4d, etc rendering. hope that helps:D
