Since when has the iMac had a TFT display? I thought it had an IPS display??
It's LCD TFT IPS LED. All of it.
For a comparison, the old 20" 2007 iMac was LCD TFT TN CCFL.

That's a trip, and it's so sad. However, I think it's best for the kids. With experts seeming to rule out mental illness (which probably doesn't just come on), there seems to be a very strong appearance that he's on drugs.
The thing is I don't know how he allegedly passed a drug test. The guy rants and raves like either a very late stage alcoholic and/or a person on hard drugs. He has openly admitted to lots of drinking and drug use so it's not a stretch to think he's still using and it's a good reason to take the kids away. But more than feeling sorry for him, I really feel sorry for all those who he had hurt.

This all seems much ado about nothing. Clearly it looks like M$ is showing us how greedy they can be but look at the facts:
From what I've seen of Vista editions, Starter, Home Basic, and Home Premium are pretty much crippled.
Vista Business is $199 for the upgrade. I'm betting the OEM version will be priced similarly. Only a fool would go buy the full retail version. The OEM works fine.
VirtualPC sold for about $ 250. Parallels + Vista Biz is going to be about the same price.
$199 seems a lot for an upgrade, but keep in mind that M$ doesn't do major upgrades very often. So it's not like Apple where we have to put out $125 every 18 months or so.
If you really don't want to spend $199 on Vista Biz then buy Home Basic for $99 and use Boot Camp. Since Boot Camp isn't a virtualization Win can't get on your backs about that.
Still remains to be seen how Win will know if you are using virtualization software. Certain expect to see hacks that will make Vista think it's running on a true PC.

I'm holding off until WWDC to decide what route of "Mac conversion" I am going to be using. If Leopard has a built in Parallels type solution (which I believe it will), then I will absolutely begin my church's mac conversion in January.

I think there is a hole in this argument/dream. Apple has spent considerable time and marketing money in the Made for iPod campaign that centers arounds the dock connector. They have created the Universal dock and inserts for all recent iPods, promising to keep these updated with all new iPods in the foreseeable future. Therefore, I seriously doubt these new no touch iPods wouldn't have at least a dock connector. .
The new Nike-Apple collaboration shows how Apple could get around this - simply a female dock receptacle, bluetooth (or whatever) configured to replace the physical dock connection. It would work for automobile interfaces, the iPhoto connection etc.
Apple could make a ton of cash "this simple connector - only available from Apple - allows all your iPod accessories to communicate with our new iMonolith iPod"... very 2001:)

Its about time. As much as I like BT, I wouldn't buy one - not unless about sort out the ergonomic issues.. the current mighty mouse is horrid.

I rather have a consistant look an feel or if not then allowing for all Applications to have this which personally I rather not, give me boring but functional look.

Mac sales really have been increasing the past couple of quaters. Hopefully, those new Mac buyers continue buying Apple products. Also, It's a good thing I own some Apple stock. :D

The new Mighty Mouse uses two standard AA batteries and will be compatible with OS X 10.4.6 and later. No release date is set for the new Bluetooth Mighty Mouse -- currently codenamed M6, but judging from the FCC filing, the new mouse should arrive soon.
MacRumors recently received word that Apple repair technicians and phone support had been briefed on how to deal with the new hardware, indicating a release may be imminent. The Mighty Mouse was introduced (http://www.macrumors.com/pages/2005/08/20050802094256.shtml) in August 2005.
Update: According to a picture of a preliminary product manual obtained by AppleInsider (http://www.appleinsider.com/article.php?id=1909), the new wireless Mighty Mouse will use Laser tracking in place of the Optical tracking system the current USB Mighty Mouse uses.
