Safe to say at this point we will have to wait. Man, I had that upgrade waiting. But then again, what's another three months to wait from the usual release date?

Interesting that the mac program at Best Buy is being expanded from seven to 50 stores, and a new pilot program at a few Circuit City stores. Must be seeing some success for Best Buy to be alotting floor space in more of their stores. :D

I dont like those random things they are doing. Like changing the "minimize, close window"-buttons on iTunes and App Store. Now this?

Personally I voted no, not because I am ignorant, but because there wasn't a more appropriate answer. It is my job to be concerned about all aspects of computing, but I am NO MORE concerned because of this "month of kernel bugs" than I was before the month of November. I also I find it highly unlikely that I will be nipped by any of these bugs shoehorned into malware before they are wiped clean by a security update.

I scanned eldiablojoe last night. He is a WW.
Edit: Got out of the hospital and have been sleeping mostly since then. Now I wait for the biopsy results. Thanks for all those concerned.

I like what you have going on here. Great detail on the girl / hair too, bokeh is pleasing and vibrant. Epic shoot locale. Tell her to stand up straighter next time and I think it would be flawless. Fill light could go one notch down too.
I love this photo you know. Very good color harmony with the dress too!

Another pointless 666MB download for probably less than 1MB of actual update. Can Apple learn to patch its products more efficiently?
I wish! Have to download iPhone4, iPad 1 and iPad 2 updates, so roughly 2GB of data just for what is probably a few minor changes.

Why amazon?
If I may, because Amazon sells 12 bags cheaper (per unit) than any other store. About once every 4-6 months I buy 12 bags of Haribo Gummi Bears for under $14.00. If you were to buy a 5 oz bag in store, you'd be paying at least $2.99, on a super good day. For me though, I need to put them away someplace where I'll likely forget or I'll eat a bag a day in place of a meal.

Our continuous innovation?
Even my grandma has more innovations than samsung. At least HTC and motorola came up with their skins being very different from apple. They tried to differentiate themselves from apple's iOS with Motorola Blur and HTC Sense.
But, Samsung? They look so much like iOS.
Korea? Give me a freaking break. That market is so freaking small.
US is a huge market. There are way over 300 millions of people here and it is growing so fast. Samsung sold 2-3 million galaxy phones in US alone.
If samsung loses, and they most likely will... against apple in this law suit in US. Their share holders won't be so happy.
Samsung Vs Apple is very different from Apple vs HTC or Apple vs Motorola.
Samsung did copy apple.
Look at their damn 9 series laptop. Look at how their ports are located. It is a rip off from apple's first generation MBA.
Innovation my ass...

One of my main reasons for getting the MB vs. keeping my iBook was Parallels.
I develop for several platforms, so this was 'made in heaven' if i worked.
Well, after a month of testing and developing I can say that Parallels has been an unqualified success.
Currently I'm running Ubuntu, Solaris 10 (Dtrace, zones and ZFS rules, but that is another debate), and Win2k. Apart from an issue getting the screen resolution right in Sun's Java Desktop, I have had no problems whatsoever.
Since I'm not doing any 3D work, graphics acceleration isn't an issue for me.
It's the best 70-odd dollars I've ever spent.
Oh yeah, to the guy with stability issues..... I have no idea what you've been doing to your machine, but I haven't yet had a kernel panic of any kind (nor a BSOD in Parallels), so I don't recognize the situation at all. And, believe me, when you rape a system the way I do, running a long compile in the background while at the same time converting a video (just to see the stress handling capabilities - I wouldn't do that normally, compiles take too long :)), you get a good feel for the stability of the system. This baby is rock solid.
For the record: MB CD 2GB 120GBHD

I have installed 4.3.2 on 3gs and it is...nice...i mean the home screen animations are smoother.... don't have any issues with the battery.....everything is....nice
4.3 was terrible...home screen icons and animations were jerky...some bugs with safari...e to 3g was long and sometimes resulting in network lost
4.3.1 was a little better....no bugs just slow animations
4.3.2 is...is...nice
P.s. if you have battery issues, it is not because of ios update..it is from your settings because when you restore to your phone the settings are also restored...so the problem remains...try to kill ping with restrictions...also try to recreate your email accounts...push to off...notifications also off...
Also try ipod settings eq off...and i have specified my carrier...its not automatic

Gas is expensive! $50 for me today.
I wish ours were that low! Its up to $3.25 in PA.
EDIT: Ok apparently TIMG tags don't work anymore.

Trackpads and touch screens are quite different input devices. Touch screen input requires that you actually "touch" what you want to manipulate. With a trackpad, you don't have quite the precision to precisely put your finger on an object on screen, since the object is not displayed on the track pad.
It just doesn't translate that well. Trackpads still very much require cursors, which iOS's UI lacks.
Then all you need is a cursor overlay; just how you operate in an iOS simulator.

I believe that I have posted it on some other thread but I'll post it here just for fun.
Not sure if it is too feasible, just throwing possibilities.
MBA + Backlit(Or not, I don't really mind) + Thunderbolt + Sandy Bridge
And an external GPU connected by Thunderbolt if people needs it.

At&t bumped my upgrade eligibility from 11/30/2011 to 6/30/2011. That must mean Apple is giving *me* the iPhone in June, right?
