nah. I doubt they would do this. .2 inches is not that much bigger and would cause problems with designing apps to look good on it. I can see a 4 inch screen, and them getting rid of the home button. What they'll do for the home button is make the screen clickable at the bottom where the home button used to be. It would be similar to squeezing a magic trackpad. That would enable them to get rid of the home button and expand the screen to that area, making it a 4 inch screen. I can also see the area above the screen and next to the camera and ear piece become touch sensitive, enabling "drag down" menus that would enable multitasking or enable quick settings. For example, you could drag down from one corner to get multitasking menu and switch back to a different app, (8 instead of 4, I hope) and drag down from the other corner to quickly adjust screen brightness and turn your wifi hotspot on or off. They may also make the back touch sensitive, but I can't imagine a use for that, so I don't know what they'll do with it. But they made a glass back for a reason. I think they have a really good idea of what to do with a touch sensitive back.

Keep in mind some of the people in this thread are using Mac Pros.
Which client are you using? Are both cores being used?
I'm using the default Folding@home client from standford's site. FahMon and F@H WUdget report the core as Gromacs SMP, and it is using both cores. I noticed with activity monitor that it has spawned 4 threads each using around 45-50% CPU which is a bit odd as it is only a dual core machine with no HT. The PPD is at around 1080 and it is going at 1.66x minimum speed. What do you think?

I'm just putting it out there that either apple are greedy bastards, or they're offsetting the cost of the US customers by increasing the prices elsewhere. I live in Australia, where the minimum cost of a song on the iTunes store is $1.69, with most songs costing $2.19. Explain to me why this is the case when there's no physical handling, just accessing a server, and our dollar is worth more than the US dollar.
Like I said, apple are greedy bastards. I reckon amazon should off the mp3's in a variety of formats, OR in mp3, with the option of downloading a wav or FLAC file. In the case of full albums, offering an ISO of the CD would be nice. Until then, I'd prefer to stay away, for the most part I still buy CD's. I'm not going to switch to entirely digital for a long time.

1) Is there now a way to shift several events in time simultaneously, so you don't have to change each one individually when you want to move a group of events?
2) When you select several events from different calendars and copy and paste them do they all turn into the same calendar category like the current version of iCal operates?
3) Are there any more display options that let you control how events are displayed?

if MS makes it cheaper than an iPod then Apple might have some trouble. Parents/grandparents who are technologically ignorant will generally buy whatever Bestbuy salesman pimps to them for their kid. So if it is cheaper than an iPod with similar functions then a lot will be bought.

Wow, no one saw that one coming!!
Maybe something in the higher models needed 2gb of ram.. Or apple is just being its kinds self and giving us 2gb instead of 1gb to make us happy :) Or trick us into thinking we are getting a good deal for our money when we really arnt! Ahh the confusing ways of apples marketing structure! But I sure cant wait for my 2.33GHz stock 15.4inch Macbook pro! I will be paying that back for the rest of my life ;)
Has anyone esle seen that the apple.com/macbookpro image looks white.. kinda looks like a ibook
